Class Descriptions

Power Flow - Focusing on flow and core, Power Flow utilizes postures that help sculpt and strengthen the body. We will often incorporate Yoga Nidra (deep conscious sleep) and vibrational sounds from the Crystal Singing bowls into our practice. Classes are gentle enough for beginners, yet challenging enough for advanced yogi's, with modifications given for all levels. Classes are 60 minutes long. 


Yin Yoga - Yin is a powerful practice which targets joints, tendons, ligaments, and fascia within the body. Each posture is held for long periods of time to encourage the slow and safe opening of connective tissues, leaving the yogi with an overall feeling of lightness, spaciousness and peace. The Yin yoga class is the perfect antidote to stress and a great counter balance to more active styles of yoga (ie. Power). Yin class is recommended to all levels of yogis, and is an amazing compliment to athletes like runners and skiiers. Classes are 60 Minutes long.

 

Mom & Baby Yoga - Your body is amazing, look what you just accomplished! Get that core strength and well-being back with your little one by your side. Added bonus: meeting other new Mom's in the community. Super casual and comfy class with breastfeeding and baby giggles welcome. Open for up to 1 year old (crawlers are challenging, but we don't discriminate). Classes come with optional babywearing. Classes are 60 minutes long


Retired & Zen - As a Yoga instructor, I strive to personalize every individuals yoga practice to suit their immediate physical needs, and perhaps introduce them to other wonderful aspects of Yoga, such as tapping into the other layers of “self” to see beyond the physical/material world that surrounds us. I customize each participants practice, weather you are concerned about your arthritis, back, blood pressure or an injury/surgery you recently had or are concerned about. With the assistance of props like chairs, blocks, straps, and bolsters, you can have an amazingly beneficial practice suited just for you, with your instructor there every step of the way (laugh’s are included). Classes are 60 minutes long.

 

Karma Kids -Get your whole family doing yoga in a fun engaging class filled with animal & nature postures and sounds. Classes will be engaging enough for Mom and Dads (or other family and friends) while the kids are following along with happy guidance from the instructor. One fee for the whole family, no drop in must be registered to ensure availability Classes are 60 minutes long and super casual.


SUP Yoga - Offered year round, SUP yoga can be practiced indoors and out. In the studio environment, we practice our head stands and wheels in a controlled environment with your instructor there for support every step of the way. Your board is balanced on 2 bosu balls to simulate being on the water. This can help prepare you for the upcoming season, while you refine your skills for the water! When the sun is shining, and the lake is warming, lets take our boards out on the water and really be one with the earth, sun, and sky. Classes are TBD and are seasonal.
